The WIC Aide is responsible for aiding in the operation of the WIC Program. Responsible for helping participants fill out necessary forms for program assistance. Assess household gross income and number in household; explain proper use of WIC checks and ID Folders to participants and any other needed correspondence in a professional manner. Bilingual staff will have the ability to translate for non-English speaking or reading families who are applying for services. Refer clients as needed or requested. Maintain quality control of daily office tasks and supply inventory. Complete files and corrections in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality of all participant information.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months related experience preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills a plus

Other: The wage is $10.30 per hour

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES CASE MANAGER   --- Posted: 11/03/2014

Work with Veteran families performing assessment of participant function and developing and monitoring case plans in coordination with formal assessment of supportive services needed, including necessary follow-up activities. Assess and verify tenancy problems, income and financial assistance needs utilizing the tools provided by the program. Work with landlords regarding late payments, damage or lease violations to prevent evictions. Assist participants in connecting with employment services and/or obtain financial assistance from government or private sources. Work with participants to develop a housing stabilization plan with goals for successful achievement of self sufficiency. Provide information regarding additional community resources. Work collaboratively with Veteran Affairs Officers in the service area. Provide outreach about the program and services provided to community partners and other organizations.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree or related experience in a field related to the delivery of counseling and/or social services preferred. Six months to one year related experience.

Other: Hourly wage is $14.25 per hour. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance. Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, EAP, 401K Retirement. 40 hours per week M-F with some flexibility. Hourly wage plus benefits. Provide case management services related to housing, employment and financial assistance to Veteran Families in designated counties. Head Start Assistant Director   --- Posted: 10/30/2014

Assist the Head Start Director with program planning, implementation and reporting. Supervise Area Managers, including on-going documentation of job performance. Ensure follow-up occurs with Area Managers monitoring program compliance through monthly reports/checklists. Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for relevant staff. Verify and process designated staff’s timesheets, activity logs and approved leave requests. Coordinate purchasing and inventory for the program. Track DHHS licensing paperwork for staff and facilities. Maintain confidentiality for children, families, program and Agency. Adhere to Head Start Performance Standards, Written Plan, regulations governing Licensure of Child Care Centers, Education & Family Service Training Manuals, Parent Handbook, NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct, Rule 11, NENCAP Personnel Policies and Procurement procedures.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree required. Bachelors’ degree preferred.
1 or more years of experience in school administration, business administration, supervision, human services or human resources.
